Welcome

Hello and welcome to my blog!
This is a new adventure for me and I am excited that you have decided to come along!
Let me introduce myself. My name is Felicia Jordan, I live in Phoenix, Arizona and I have been teaching for 3 years. I spent my first year teaching first grade, and I have spent the past two years teaching second grade.

Second grade is definitely my niche (hence the title). I love the curriculum, the age group, and the growth that these kiddos go through during this year.  As a second grade teacher I also teach in an ELD classroom. This means that my kiddos are second language learners, so we spend extra time on English skills than other second grade classrooms do.

I plan to use this blog to document my adventure as a teacher, share my resources, and give/seek advice.
